The 24th annual Horseshoe Road Yard Sale will kickoff at 8 a.m. this Saturday, Oct. 3. Bargain hunters are invited to take a trip around the turns and bends of the community to explore everything on offer. Food vendors will also set up along the sale route.

Memorial Satilla to honor breast cancer survivors Oct. 6 Memorial Satilla Health will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Month Survivor Reception 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, in the main lobby at 1900 Tebeau St., Waycross.
The community is invited to join the hospital in honoring breast cancer survivors, recognizing the strength of those still in treatment and celebrating the care teams, families, friends and loved ones who support them.
The reception is open to survivors, caregivers, loved ones and community members. Together, attendees will celebrate hope, strength and survivorship while recognizing the shared commitment to a healthier tomorrow.
