EIC cites pastoral event of Dr. James Emmanuel’s International Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 600 Genoa Street, will celebrate the 46th Pastoral Anniversary of Archbishop Dr. Michael- Angelo James with a special worship program at 7 p.m., Sunday, September 27.
Guest speaker for the program will be Elder Kenneth Kirksey pastor of the Powerhouse of Faith Ministries, joined by his congregation.
Dr. James, pastor at EIC since 1990, began his journey in ministry August 10, 1980, when he was licensed as a gospel minister. That was followed by his ordination in May 1983.
In December 1989, Dr. James accepted the call to Pastor EIC and was installed in February 1990.
Gospel sing Oct. 3 at Manor center A gospel sing will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, October 3 at the Manor Community Center, 4650 Manor Millwood Road.
The sing will feature Jimmy Hall and Vocal Alliance from Glenville, Ga. There is no charge for admission, but a love offering will be accepted with proceeds going to the community center.

Faith Outreach has dual celebration
Faith Outreach Ministries, 200 Tebeau Street, will celebrate a combined 93rd birthday and wedding anniversary for Pastor, Elder Eddie Joyner and Missionary Marilyn Joyner Sunday, October 17.

Antioch Baptist has 156th anniversary Members of Historic Antioch Baptist Church, Inc., 615 Knight Avenue celebrates the 156th church anniversary with a special worship at 3 p.m., Sunday, October 18.
The guest speaker is Evangelist Karla E. Finley, World Harvest Church, Jacksonville, Fla.
For 18 years, Finley has served in the ministry of preaching and evangelism, carrying a passion for reaching souls, encouraging the brokenhearted, and reminding God's people of the power, promises, and faithfulness found in His Word.
She serves as church secretary at World Harvest Church. The Rev. Raymond C. Williams, Sr. is Antioch pastor.
Tabernacles Feast festival Oct. 2-3 Safe Harbour Disaster Relief and sponsor Forward Outreach Ministries hold the first Feast of Tabernacles Celebration Friday- Saturday, October 2-3.
Hours are 2-6 p.m. each day at Pernell Roberts Memorial Park for free activities, fellowship, Bible study, praise and fun for the entire family. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be on site.
