LUDOWICI — Pierce County Middle School completed a second straight Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference cross-country meet sweep here Tuesday.
The Lady Bears totaled 33 points in defeating the field comprised of conference teams. Khlare Hewatt led the way finishing first with a time of 14:03.
She was followed by Jaciee Neal (third; 14:43), Irene Sanchez (sixth; 15:53), Cali Jones (10th; 15:58) and Kaylee Carpenter (13th; 16:06) for the team score.
The Bears finished with 24 points with all five runners placing in the top seven spots. Paxton Cochran recorded a time of 12:30 to finish second.
Following Cochran were Phoenix Usher (4th; 12:46), Nate Carlson (5th; 12:47), Max Warren (6th; 12:55) and Cam Yeomans (7th; 13:08).
