The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Pierce CountyChamberofCommerce,200SWCentral Avenue, Blackshear.
The AmVets post is looking for mothers, wives, widows, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, step-daughters and granddaughters of American veterans and female veterans to form the first-ever Ladies Auxiliary.
The auxiliary is a national volunteer and service organization made up of dedicated women whose focus is to support American veterans,theirfamiliesandtheirlocalcommunities. Those who have no military association are also welcome to join as honorary members.
