Hospice Satilla holding annual Camp Hope for grieving children Saturday, Sept. 26
WAYCROSS — Hospice Satilla will hold “Camp Hope” Saturday, September 26 at the Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind adjacent to Laura S. Walker State Park.
Camp Hope is a free grief camp for children age 6-18 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent or other significant loved ones.
The camp beings at 8 a.m. with a check-in and registration. The camp concludes with a memorial dinner at 6 p.m. Parents/Guardians are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Laura S. Walker’s annual Fall vendor bazaar scheduled for Saturday, September 26
WAYCROSS — Laura S. Walker State Park, 5653 Laura Walker Road, holds is annual Fall Food Truck & Vendor Bazaar from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 26.
A variety of food, beverages, crafts, art and other items will be available from a host of vendors. Parks is $10 per car unless you have a state park pass.
