Conger LP Gas celebrated last week the opening of a new store at 3101 Knight Avenue in Waycross with a ribbon-cutting to kick off two days of festivities Thursday-Friday, September 10-11. The location includes a large showroom of LP gas-powered products such as appliances, ceramic fireplace logs, grills, and water heaters. There’s also a customer service desk as part of the showroom that fronts a large storage area in the rear of the new building. Outside is an area to fill gas cylinders. As part of the grand opening, Conger served a lunch of barbecue sandwiches and chips each day, and filled 20-pound cylinders for only $10. Conger donated $2 from each refill to Jeremiah’s Promise. The new store is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
