Patterson man charged with early morning robbery of local corner store

A Patterson man has been arrested in connection with an August 31 armed robbery at Neighborhood Grocery in Patterson.

Trenton Conner of Patterson was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 8, in connection with the case.

Patterson Police Chief Nick Strickland announced Conner has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, cruelty to children in the second degree and aggravated assault.

The Patterson Police Department and Pierce County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident which occurred at about 6 a.m. Monday, August 31. The Neighborhood Grocery is located at U.S. Highway 84 and Tyre Bridge Road, Patterson.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit assisted with the investigation.
