Pierce County split four matches getting swept at Camden County and recording a home sweep.
The Lady Bears (14-9) were beaten by host Camden County in a third set tiebreaker falling 28-30, 25-22, 15-7 in Kingsland Wednesday, September 9. PCHS dropped a 25-12, 25-21 decision to Yulee (Fla.) High School in the other match.
Pierce County hosted Region 3-AAA foe Appling County and Frederica Academy on Rec Night Thursday, September 10. The Lady Bears downed the Lady Pirates 25-12, 25-14 and beat the Lady Knights 25-4, 2513.
Pierce County travels Tuesday, September 15 to St. Simons Island to meet Frederica Academy and goes Thursday, September 17 to Caney Bay to face Brantley County in a region matchup and Long County.
The Lady Bears play at Southeast Bulloch Mondy, September 21 against the Lady Yellow Jackets and Faith Christian. Wayne County and Thomas County Central visit Tuesday, September 22 with a jayvee 4 p.m. start. Varsity action tips at 5 p.m.
Regionmate Tattnall County and Tift County come to Bearville Thursday, September 24 with jayvee action starting at 4 p.m., and varsity action at 5 p.m.

Azalea Mobley recorded 20 digs and had nine kills for PCHS. Gracie Brewer followed with 14 digs with Isabell Marx finishing with 12 digs and seven kills.
Ansley Hutcheson and Daisy Thigpen were each credited with nine digs and eight assists.

Mobley had six digs to go along with three kills. Nyiah Jackson also had three kills. Brewer was credited with four digs.
Thigpen had four digs and three assists. Caroline Davis finished with four assists.
Lady Bears........25-25 Frederica Acad....4-13 BEARVILLE — PCHS overpowered the Lady Knights in the first set en route to the win.
Mobley and Brewer led the Lady Bears with six and five digs respectively. Mobley also had seven kills. Hutcheson recorded 11 assists.
Marx and Mollie Carter had five kills each.

Thigpen had a teamhigh 12 assists with Hutcheson accumulating 10. Marx finished with a team-high nine kills and three digs.
Carter had eight kills with Mobley finishing with five.
