CLAXTON — Brantley County running back Malachi Saunders lines up in the “Big Heron” ground attack in shotgun formation behind the offensive line and two sniffers during Friday’s non-region battle in Claxton. Saunders recorded his second straight 100-yard rushing night finishing with a game-high 133 yards on 13 carries which included six runs of 10-plus yards with three going for 20 yards or better.
