The Brantley County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for Courthouse renovation work to include: 1. Remove and relocate an existing 17' x 10' partition wall approximately 10 feet from its current location. Existing wall panels, trim, and door shall be salvaged and reused where possible. 2. Remove and modify existing ceiling panels, grid, lighting, and HVAC vents as necessary to accommodate the relocated wall. Existing lighting and HVAC vents shall be reused. 3. Construct a new 7' x 5' restroom, including floor tile, toilet, vanity/sink, ventilation fan, plumbing, wastewater pump and tank connection to the existing city wastewater system, freshwater connection, and necessary electrical work.
4. Remove existing flooring and install new office carpeting throughout. 5. Install a new entry door through an existing brick wall, including necessary framing and trim. Contractors with experience in the renovation and preservation of historic buildings are preferred. Additional specifications are available by contacting the Brantley County Manager at 912-462-5256, Ext. 2. All proposals must be sealed, clearly labeled 'RFP – Building Renovations,' and submitted to the Brantley County Board of Commissioners, 33 Allen Road, Nahunta, GA 31553, no later than 2:00 p.m. on September 18, 2026. Brantley County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
