Waycross Aglow Lighthouse holds its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 12 in the Fellowship Hall of Transformation Church, 2198 Brunswick Highway.
The program’s featured speaker will be Carol Lovette, who in the past year moved to Ware County from Texas with her husband, Tommy.
She grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and he in Arkansas. They found their way together 42 years ago in Ft. Worth, Texas, where they raised three children. They have served in ministry together since the union.
They’ve served churches as pastors, Bible teachers, evangelists, disciple makers and encouragers in the Kingdom of God. The couple also has served as missionaries in many countries.
Lovette has led women’s ministries and Bible studies through the years, and said it’s her passion to help a person grow in the Word of God, receive the power of the Holy Spirit and discover the spiritual gifts He has given them to fulfill His purposes.
