St. Peters MBC sets special worships St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Fireman Street, has scheduled two special worship services in September.
The first is at Fall Revival set Tuesday-Thursday, September 8-10, The program starts at 7 p.m. daily.
Pastor K.C. Davis of First African Missionary Baptist in Kingsland will be the evangelist. The theme is “Renewing our Hearts for God.”
The church also will celebrate the anniversary of Pastor Norris L. Woods, Sr. and Lady Michelle Woods with a special program at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 20.
Pastor Doyle E. Mitchell of First African Baptist Church, Fancy Bluff in Brunswick will conduct the service.
Camp Branch COG sets Homecoming Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy, 4249 Camp Branch Road, Manor holds its 11th Homecoming Day at 10 a.m., Sunday, September 20.
Isaiah 61 from Sterling, Ga., will begin the program with songs. Bishop Dannie Hix of Baxley will deliver the message at 11:30 a.m.
There will be dinner following the service. The church’ regular evening worship will not be held.

Praise Fest slated Sept. 19 downtown LS3 Music Group will stage the Second Annual Backyard Praise Fest from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday, September 19 in Phoenix Park, Downtown Waycross.
This community celebration is free and brings together families, churches, local businesses, vendors, and music lovers for an afternoon and evening of faith, fellowship, live gospel music, food, family activities, and community unity. Attendees should bring their own tents and or chairs.
