Blackshear City Park will host a special celebration of the USA’s 250th Birthday 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, September 12.
“We invite everyone to come and celebrate with us,” said Bethany Strickland, Blackshear’s Better Hometown Manager. Better Hometown is organizing the celebration.
Strickland said the concept for the observance will blend a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
