A Patterson man suffered serious injuries last Wednesday after he rear-ended a local newspaper owner, ran off U.S Highway 84 and smashed through five portable buildings at ITow Trailers.
Jasper Theodore McBride, 59, was transported by Pierce County EMS to Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. Witnesses said he appeared to be disoriented and was bleeding heavily when he got out of his wrecked vehicle after the accident. He is believed to have suffered a medical emergency behind the steering wheel.
An update on his condition was not available at press time, but it is believed he will recover.
