BEARVILLE — Weather wreaked havoc for the sixth-ranked Pierce County Lady Bears’ two-game Region 3-AAA softball series with neighboring Brantley County.
The August 25 date in Caney Bay was rained out. The August 27 date in Bearville was moved up a day in anticipation of another storm moving through, but it also was rained out.
The teams then met the following day in Bearville and played one inning before play was halted by rain with the Lady Bears (7-1) holding a 2-1 lead over BCHS (3-1).
