Brantley County commissioners discussed/ voted the following agenda items during the Tuesday, August 4 work session and Thursday, August 6 regular meeting.
• Payment to Golden Isles Collision for the Waynesville Volunteer Fire Department’s 2025 F250: Commissioners unanimously approved a payment of $12,135 for the truck damaged during the Hwy. 82 Fire to Golden Isle’s Collision on a motion by Commissioner Andy Riggins. Commissioner Brian Hendrix gave the second.
The monies will be paid out of the Waynesville VFD Repair and Maintenance budget.
