Tammy Lorraine Walker, 62, of Waycross, passed away Thursday evening, August 27, 2026, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Born February 15, 1964, in Blackshear, she was a daughter of the late Owen William Walker and Lorraine Manning Campbell. She lived most of
her life in Pierce, Ware and Bacon Counties and was a long-time homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Stephen Jeffers; step-mother, Maryann Hensley Walker; two sisters, Teresa Walker and Laura Walker and two brothers, David Walker and Ray Walker.
Survivors include her three children, Renee Counts Guy (husband Ben), Blackshear, Clint Counts, Athens, and Michael Counts, Waycross; grandson, Owen Conway Counts, Blackshear; a sister, Wanda Gail Smith (husband William), Villa Rica; a brother, Wilbur “Billy” Walker, Alma and several other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.
