The body of a woman who recently had been living in a local hotel was discovered shortly after 10 a.m., Thursday, August 21 in a secluded area off Memorial Drive, Waycross Police said in a media release.

Ware County Coroner David Jordan said Monday afternoon the body was that of Nawanna Holsendolph, 56. Jordan said Holsendolph’s daughter, Diamond Clements, said her mother had recently been staying in a local hotel.

Jordan said the family had reported to authorities that Holsendolph was missing.
