WPD arrests city man on multiple drug charges

A Waycross man was arrested on drug-related and other charges early August 22 as part of an on-going drug investigation, the Waycross Police Department said in a release on its social media platforms.

Tyler Nickell Davis, 27, 1400 Dean Drive in Waycross, was arrested in the early morning hours Saturday and charged with Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act—Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug-Related Objects, Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor, and Disorderly House.

Davis was transported to the Ware County Jail by WPD personnel where he was booked on the charges. He remained in the Ware County Jail August 24 with a total bond of $6,800 for the charges.
