Accord
WAYCROSS — Mr. Emory Arthur Accord, 53, of Waycross, died Tuesday, August 18, 2026, morning at his sister’s residence after an extended illness.
He was born in Waycross to the late Bobby Lacy Accord and Linda Howell Accord, and had made Waycross his home for his entire life.
H e most recently attended Countryside Baptist Church. Accord loved to ride his bicycle around Waycross and made friends with everyone he encountered. He especially loved every moment he was able to spend with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Linda Accord.
Accord is survived by two sisters, Grace Pack and her husband, Edward, and Beckie Duncan and her husband, Tim, all of Waycross; two brothers, Bobby Accord and Kermit Morgan, both of Waycross; nieces and nephews, Linda Lashley (Christopher), Caitlyn Miller (Chad), Terra Morgan (Sabastian), Rebecca Clark (Dalton), Dorsey Clark (Ansley), Gracie Clark (Andrew), Brandi Pack, Jonathan Pack, and Joshua Nix (Summer); as well as numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A funeral service was held August 22 in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Waters Cemetery.
