Kildow
ORANGE PARK, Mrs. Mary Janice Guy Kildow, 78, passed away Friday night, August 21, 2026, at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Florida, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kildow was born February 8, 1948, in Waycross to the late Edward Guy and Evelyn Broach Hobbs. She att ended Ware County Schools and was a member of Faith Temple. A homemaker and talented beautician who worked from home, she was known to her family as the “Queen of QVC.” She loved singing, her church, her family, and, above all, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Howell.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Kildow of Waycross; her children, Lloyd Sirmans (Emily), Michelle Howell (Wendy), and Mitchell Howell (Elese); stepchildren, Keith Kildow (Christian Olive), Parrish Kildow (Amanda), and Kimberly Waters (Mark Mc-Connell); grandchildren, Avery, Kate, and Everly Howell, Kaitlyn Steedley (Andrew), Sarah Gordon, Grace Sirmans, Cortland Sirmans, Journie Sirmans, Blake Kildow, Braden Kildow, Dawson Jewell, Hannah Parks, and Haylee Waters; great grandchildren, Sunni, Bryson, August, Kaylani, Maegan, Dryden, Kolton, Iris Hayes, Bowen, Braylon, Benton, Kara Layne, Jovi, Waylon, and Layton; sister, Vickie Stevenson (Ronald); brothers, Teddy Guy (Paula) and Eddie Guy (Nita); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held August 24 at Faith Temple. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
