Ware County dropped three games and had a fourth game cancelled in a busy week of action.
The Lady Gators (2-5) opened the week falling 11-7 Monday, August 17 at Brantley County (30). The Lady Herons won the August 10 meeting at WCHS 10-2.
Class 6A tenth-ranked Glynn Academy followed with a doubleheader sweep one day later at home. The Lady Red Terrors posted an 8-0 victory in the fiveinning August 18 opener. Game 2 was a makeup of the August 15 rainout at Ware County with the teams entering the fourth inning in a scoreless game. Glynn Academy prevailed 14-6 in six innings for the sweep.
