Cord of Three Counseling Services will host its 18th Annual Fore the Family Golf Tournament Saturday, September 19, at Lakeview Golf Course in Blackshear. Sponsors and participants will take to the fairways to invest in families in the community. Since 2007, the Fore the Family Golf Tournament has made a significant impact in supporting families in the community. The public is welcome to join supporters and partners who gather for a day of golf and fellowship.
Hosted by Cord of Three Counseling Services, this annual tournament features a 4-Man Scramble with breakfast, lunch, contests, prizes, and fellowship while raising funds to provide Christ-centered counseling and support for individuals and families throughout our region. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Team registrations and business sponsorships are now available. This year’s tournament reflects Cord of Three’s 2026 theme, “Raise the Bar,” inviting golfers, sponsors, and community partners to invest in stronger families and a stronger future for Southeast Georgia.
Fore the Family is a four-man scramble golf tournament held at Lakeview Golf Course, 510 Golf Course Rd, Blackshear, GA 31516. The schedule is as follows: 7:30 a.m. - Breakfast, 8:30 a.m. - Shotgun Start ~ 4-Man Scramble, 12:30 Lunch/Awards and Prize Presentations. “This tournament is one of the highlights of our year,” shared one returning participant. “It’s well organized, great fellowship, and every swing helps strengthen families in our own community.” Teams, sponsors, and volunteers are invited to be part of this annual tradition of faith, fellowship, and community impact.
