Pierce County split two games before Region 3-AA’s opener with the loss the first of the season.
The sixth-ranked Lady Bears (7-1) knocked off visiting Class 7A Camden County 5-2 Tuesday, August 18. They fell 10-6 at Class 6A 10th-ranked Glynn Academy (7-2) in a battle of Top 10 teams Thursday, August 20, the Lady Red Terrors’ fourth consecutive victory.
PCHS tangles with neighboring Brantley County in the region opening series. The Lady Herons hosted Game 1 Tuesday, August 25 with Pierce County hosting the home-and-home series final Thursday, August 27. Both games have 6 p.m. starts.
