Teresa Michelle Blalock Sinclair, 58, of Mershon, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2026, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
Born in Blackshear December 29, 1967, she lived in Pierce County all her life.  She was a 1985 graduate of Pierce County High School.  She worked for Julie Hat Factory for several years prior to going to work as a graphic artist with The Blackshear Times.  Over the years, she continued to use her talents in the graphic arts by working for The Camden Shopper, The Waycross Shopper, and finally for The Waycross Journal Herald.  Her artistic side was also shown by her paintings and wood burning projects. She enjoyed reading, baking and traveling, back when she was able.  She was a member of the Mershon Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Vernon Lavonne and Clara Mae Chancey Blalock.  She was also preceded in death by both of her sisters, Laverne Boatright and Diane (Ronald) Jackson; her in-laws, the Rev. Jack and Jean Sinclair and her sister-in-law, Lora Sinclair.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Lon S. Sinclair, Mershon; her daughter and son-in-law, Magnolia “Maggie” and John Higginbotham, Mershon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Breanna Sinclair and Lukas and Hannah Sinclair, all of Mershon; a brother-in-law, Terry Boatright, Bristol; a sister-in-law, Wendy (Joel) Price, Patterson; her two precious grandchildren, Remington Hunner Sinclair and Crystal Ellie Higginbotham and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Friday, August 21, at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 21, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Carter and the Rev. Mitch Hall officiating.
Memorialization is by cremation.
