NAHUNTA — Golden Isles EMS service has been sold to Albany, Ga.-based GOLD STAR EMS, LLC.

The announcement of the takeover. There has not any official public record or confirmation verifying the selling of Golden Isles EMS, owned by Chuck Wilson.

Wayne Morgan saw the changing of emblems last week on the rescue units and took pictures. He was told by Wilson of the sale.

Todd Hockman is GOLD STAR’s founder. Charles Proctor is Co-Owner/COO.

GOLD STAR EMS operates regional medical transport across Georgia. It provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance transport with regional hubs in cities like Albany, Homerville and St. Marys.
