Country musician and former Pierce Countian Elizabeth Cook was featured on “Saturday Sessions” on the CBS Morning Program last weekend. Cook’s performance on “Saturday Sessions” is available on streaming platforms. The show features live musical performances from popular and emerging artists across various genres.
Cook is a native of Florida, but grew up in the Trudie Road Community near Blackshear and attended Pierce County High School.
Cook is a critically acclaimed artist and hosts the mid-day radio show “Elizabeth Cook’s Apron Strings” on the Sirius XM radio station Outlaw Country and has made over 400 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, despite not being a member. She was a frequent guest of the Late Show with David Letterman.
