The Pierce County Industrial Development and Building Authority (PCIDBA) recently discussed and/or voted on the following during the regular monthly meeting August 3 New IDBA office: As reported last month, the IDBA is moving forward with plans to relocate its office to an IDBA-owned building at 333 West Carter Avenue in Blackshear.
However, the plan to rent out half the space to generate extra revenue is no longer in place. The extra space will be converted to a conference area.
GRAD certification: James also announced the Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development (GRAD) certification process for the local industrial park is finally complete.
