Satilla River clean-up collects 3,500 lbs. of trash

The Satilla Riverkeeper recently hosted a riverwide clean-up. Thirty-five volunteers tackled nine sites and collected a grand total of 3,554 pounds of trash. In the top photo, Marley (back) and Liam Antczak help their father Nik (left, out of view) collect debris at the Georgia Highway 121 boat ramp at the Pierce-Brantley County line.
