Pierce County Recreation Department District and State Golf Winners were recognized at last week’s county commission meeting. Audrey Craft (left) is shown with Constance Drew, program coordinator with the Rec. Department. Craft placed third in the state in the 8U girls division. Honored but not present at the meeting were 8U state golf champion Lucille Schmitz, Miller Schmitz and Jud Foreman, tied for third at state in the boys 8U division and Luke Russell, district champ in the 8U boys division. Russell was not able to attend state competition.
