
Diane Donna Badour Lynch, 76, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2026, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross.
Born in Bay City, MI August 22, 1949, she lived in Munger, MI prior to moving to Pierce County in 2005. She worked for the Reese Public Schools as a bus driver and a custodian before going to work for General Motors as an operator.
She loved camping, cooking, sewing and Christmas – she always wanted to make it so special for her family. She was a doer – giving instructions and supervising was her thing. A devoted grandmother, she so enjoyed taking care of her
grandchildren and taking them to school. She also enjoyed going to McDonald’s in the mornings and visiting with the other “seniors” while having her coffee. She attended First Baptist Church in Blackshear.
She was a daughter of the late Leo Alex “Pete” and Catherine Anna “Katie” Lenhart Badour Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lynch; a son, Frankie Lynch and three brothers, Alex, Ron and Leo Badour.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa (Frank) Newman, Blackshear and Amanda (Mike) LaVigne, Essexville, MI; a son, Keith (Jill) Johnson, Blackshear; her sisters, Sue Zirwes and Rose (Wally) Pamame, all of Pinconning, MI, Lou Ann Watkins,
Mary (Danny) Kaczmarek, Sally Chard and Kathy (Kenny) Kaczmarek, all of Essexville, MI; a brother, Pete (Sandra) Badour, Essexville, MI; sister-in-law, Lori (Rick) Van Ochten, Bay City, MI, Lisa Badour, Caro, MI and Darlene Badour of Vanderbilt, MI; grandchildren, Terissa (Jace) Watkins, Spencer (Shannon) Hughes, Kade Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Mabrie Hughes, Megan LaVigne, Erica LaVigne, Elizabeth Lynch, Clara Lynch, and Sadie LaVigne; great-grandchildren, Yanci Kay Watkins and Salter Hughes; her fur baby, Gigi and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the funeral home.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
