Fall vendor bazaar Sept. 26 at LSW
Laura S. Walker State Park, 5653 Laura Walker Road, holds is annual Fall Food Truck & Vendor Bazaar from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 26.
A variety of food, beverages, crafts, art and other items will be available from a host of vendors. Parks is $10 per car unless you have a state park pass.

Diabetes group has monthly forum The Talki Foundation’s monthly support group 912 Diabetes Initiative for people with diabetes and their caregivers meets the first Saturday of each month.

SAR has quarterly meeting Aug. 15 The quarterly meeting of the Altamaha Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will take place at noon, Saturday, August 15, at Captain Joe’s Restaurant, 2686 Savannah Highway, Jesup.
A genealogy workshop will be held after the meeting. The Altamaha Chapter SAR is based in Jesup and serves the counties along the Altamaha River basin.

Blackshear Amvets fish fry set Sept. 26 Blackshear Amvets Post 1857 celebrates its first anniversary with a community fish fry at noon, Saturday, September 26 at the Blackshear Chamber of Commerce, 200 SW Central Avenue.
The post also is seeking women of all ages who are relatives of veterans to form a Ladies Auxiliary to support and enhance activities of the post throughout the year. A meeting will be held at 10 a.m. prior to the fish fry to learn more about the group.
Food preservation class on pickles The University of Georgia Extension Office’s food preservation class is 2 p.m. Tuesdays, August 18 at the Ware County Public Library, 401 Lee Avenue. Classes are $25 each and spots are limited.
