Members of Delta Zeta chapter of Phi Delta Kappa national educational sorority, including (l-r) Carol Reed, president, Ronzie Patterson, parliamentarian and Krystal Johnson, second vice president and membership chair, welcomed teachers and staff back to school during the opening session held July 30 with treat bags and information about the organization. Delta Zeta chapter is a group of educators dedicated to providing community service, mentoring high school students, and annually awarding a scholarship to a student enrolled in a teacher education program pursuing an education degree. With the members is Ware County Schools Supt. Dr. Lynn Barber.
