Strickland
Betty Ann Strickland, 69, of Patterson, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 29, 2026, at Harborview – Pierce County Nursing Home.
Born in Pinellas, FL September 7, 1956, she lived in Florida and Georgia most of her life. She was a homemaker but had worked in the concrete business, as well as the housekeeping business, and food service business. She loved going to the river and just enjoying life.
She was a daughter of the late Omer and Lucille Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Zornow and her brother, William Bennett.
Survivors include her daughter Grace Thornton, Patterson; a son, Danny Thornton, St. Petersburg, FL; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization was by cremation.
