Teirie Louise Walker Tyre, 56, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 4, 2026, at her residence.
Born in Folkston January 7, 1970, she lived in Pierce County most of her life. She was a 1988 graduate of Pierce County High School and went on to graduate from Okefenokee Technical College (now Coastal Pines).  She worked in scheduling and billing for Ascension St. Vincent’s Cardiology.  She enjoyed line dancing and was a co-creator of Georgia Line Dancers with her friend, Paula. She loved going to the beach, reading books, eating ice cream, walking, horses and trips to Helen,  but spending time with her grandbabies gave her the greatest joy. She was a member of the Blackshear Church of Christ.
She was a daughter of the late Charles Edward Walker.  She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jared Lane.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Tyre, Blackshear; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah (Demetrius) Mercer, Blackshear, Chelsea (Jason) Waters, Waycross and Alexis (Stephan) Adams, Blackshear; a son, Ethan Stanley, Blackshear; her mother, Louise Nash Walker,  Blackshear; two sisters, Teresa (Weldon) Lane,  Blackshear and Holly Johns (Josh Trogdon), Maysville; 10 grandchildren, Alecia, Tremaine “Tre”,  Maiven, August, Bryce, Addison, Bentley, Brayson, Rayne and Isla and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 9, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 10, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
