Beverly’s Closet giveaway

Beverly’s Closet, an Upper Room outreach ministry, held a special backto- school clothing giveaway, July 25. Open to the public, people were invited to choose from a broad selection of gently used secondhand clothing to help children look and feel their best returning to school this week. Originally scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., Davis and her team of volunteers were unruffled by a group of early arrivals, helping all find something among racks of clothing and shoes at no cost to those in need. Volunteers present to help those pictured were Jacob Jones, Ke’untaye Moody, April Smith, Jesse Jones, Kasey Jernigan, Jarrett Scotton, and Destiny Sallet, Davis said.
