Waycross Aglow Lighthouse’s worship program returns after a month off for its next regular meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8 in a new location, the Transformation Church, 2198 Brunswick Highway.
The program will be held in the fellowship wing.
Guest speaker will be Marcia Brown from Baxley. She and her husband, Ken, have co-pastored a church and now are active in Wellspring Ministries of Life.
They also are regional representatives for South Georgia to Pray Georgia.
She also is one of the contributors of a devotional and inspirational book by Terri Clark, Fifty Over 50: Who is That Woman in The Mirror?
Brown is a retired teacher who’s addressed church groups and women’s conferences. Her message focuses on the power of prayer, freedom in Christ Jesus, and life as God’s ambassador.
