Special to the WJH Ware County will open a free refuse center the third Saturday of both August and September for county residents to deposit household items.
The area behind the Ware County Public Works building, 3699 Harris Road, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, August 15 and Saturday, September 19 to drop-off.
This is a collection point for residential items only for those who live in the county.
Acceptable articles are brown/white goods including furniture, washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, stoves, microwaves, TVs, and other household refuse.
No construction materials/ debris, batteries, tires, antifreeze, paints or solvents or business/commercial dumping is permitted.
