Unison Behavioral Health recently celebrated Michelle Simpson’s 35 years of service with the organization. The Ware County resident began her career with Unison in 1991, as an Instructional Aide at the Ware County Service Center focusing on Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services. Later that year, she was promoted to Accounting Technician I, marking the start of a career in Unison’s financial operations. Over the years, Simpson advanced to Billing Specialist, Accountant I, Financial Operations Generalist, and in 2013 to her current role as Billing Specialist Supervisor. Through her tenue, Simpson has brought a wealth of experience and insight to Unison’s financial operations. She is known for a deep understanding of revenue processes, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting both the agency and her colleagues. Her professionalism and willingness to help others navigate complex billing and accounting challenges have made her an invaluable member of the Unison team. Celebrating with Simpson (holding certificate) are (left) Laura Fullard, HR Director and Tiffany Henderson, Chief Executive Officer, and (right) Lauren Sweat, Chief Financial Officer.
