
Cynthia Crawford-Brown, 54, of Blackshear, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, August 2, 2026, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross.
Born in Clarksville, TN August 8, 1971, she lived in Atlanta prior to moving to Blackshear eight years ago. She had worked for Cracker-Barrel prior to her illness. She will be remembered as being selfless and living her life on her own terms. She loved spending time with her family and friends – especially her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and enjoyed doing crafts, being outdoors and traveling. She attended Destination Church before her illness.
She was a daughter of the late Winston Douglas Crawford and Polly Jo Morgan Benson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Bryan and two brothers, Don Crawford and Doug Crawford.
Survivors include her daughter Kristeena Renee Crawford-Brown, Melbourne, FL; a son, Cameron Leigh Crawford-Norman (Fiance’, Madison Ward), Blackshear; two sisters, Malee Pakluck and Mary Treadaway, both of Atlanta; a brother, Morgan Pakluck, Atlanta; five grandchildren, Lucas Avery Rolfes, Nova Paige Knudson, Haleigh Elizabeth Crawford-Norman, Thomas James Darga and Charlotte Elaine Crawford-Norman; special friends, Tom Starling and Lisa McMurphy, both of Blackshear, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.
