TIFTON — A group of students from Ware, Pierce and Brantley counties earned academic honors for the Spring 2026 semester at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the school recently announced.
Students are recognized for outstanding classroom performance across three achievement lists — President’s Honor List, Dean’s Honor List and Distinguished Achievement List.
The first two are for students with a full-time course load (12 hours-up) while the other is for students with course loads of between six and 11 hours.
Students from Ware were Mary Davis and Monica Gomez (President’s), Connor Bennett and Logan Hatcher (Dean’s).
Those from Pierce were Emily Stovall and Claire Weststeyn (President’s), Rahli Turner (Dean’s), and Brett Tuten (Distinguished).
The representative from Brantley was Benjamin Carter (President’s).
The President’s Honor List is the college’s highest academic recognition. The list includes those students who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Students named to the Dean’s Honor List earned at least a 3.5 GPA while the Distinguished Achievement List recognizes part-time students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Students representing 125 of the state’s 159 counties were honored across the three lists.
