Patterson Elementary School will have a new traffic flow plan for the coming school year due to construction underway on the campus.
Parents of pre-k-second grade students will enter from U.S. Highway 84 and Drawdy Street at the first driveway. Motorists will be required to turn right onto Drawdy Street and right onto U.S. Highway 84 when leaving the campus.
Students in grades 3-5 will be picked up in the second entrance lot on Drawdy Street accessible only from Walkerville Road. There will be no access from U.S. Highway 84. All cars will be held off the Drawdy Street roadway in front of the bus line area until 2:25 p.m. when buses have left the campus.
Police personnel will release car traffic to the loading area and after loading students, drivers will turn right and head back to Walkerville Road to exit.
Police personnel will be present to direct traffic.
