Memorial Satilla Health will host Milk and Cookies: Nourishing New Beginnings, a special event celebrating Breastfeeding Awareness Week and meant to support moms, babies and every feeding journey.
The event will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, in the Birthing Center on the third floor of Memorial Satilla Health, located at 1900 Tebeau St., Waycross.
For new and expecting mothers, the event offers a chance to tour the Mother-Baby Unit, meet the hospital’s lactation support team and receive breastfeeding education/resources. Guests can also enjoy a sweet treat from the event’s cookie bar.
