The Pierce County Health Department encourages parents to make sure their child is ready for the 2026-2027 school year with a clean bill of health.
The Pierce Health Department will host back-to-school clinics 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. August 3-4. During these clinics, the health department will provide vaccines, along with hearing, vision and dental screenings, to fulfill requirements for Georgia DPH Forms 3231 and 3300 for school attendance in Georgia. No appointment is necessary.
The Pierce County Health Department, located at 715 Ware Street in Blackshear, is part of the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Southeast Health District.
