Special to the WJH The Waycross chapter of the NAACP holds a meeting each month for its executive board and general membership.
The executive board meeting is at 5:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at the Waycross-Ware County Public Library, 401 Lee Avenue.
The general meeting is the fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at New Mount Pleasant Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway.
Upcoming meetings are August 6 for the executive board and July 23 for the membership.
