WAYCROSS — Elizabeth LaShawn Mills, 52, of Waycross, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at HCA Memorial Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla., after an extended illness.
She was born in Waycross to the late Harry White and Mary Ann Mills. She worked as a cook for Shoney’s Restaurant and for Baptist Village Retirement Communities. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Mills is survived by three children, Tamara Miller of Waycross, Tierra Gregg of Douglas, India Gregg of Waycross; her grandchildren, Ayannah, Aaliyah, Aubrianna, Adrien, Aria, Kamazi, Empress, Khloe, Greg, Imarion, Ty’Jeria and Malaysia; three siblings, Tonia Mills, Reginald Mills and Tony Mills; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m., until 4:00 p.m., at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
