Charlie Giving Back sets food giveaway Charlie Giving Back community outreach will stage a food giveaway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at E.E. Moore Park.

The first 300 will be served. Recipients need to have boxes to carry away the items.

First Antioch has Gospel Festival First Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 615 Knight Avenue, holds its third annual Gospel Festival at 3 p.m., Sunday July 25.

Aglow Lighthouse has no July service

Waycross Aglow Lighthouse will not hold a monthly meeting in July.

The regular meeting schedule will resume Saturday, August 8 in a new location, the Transformation Church, 2198 Brunswick Hwy. The program will be held in the church’s fellowship wing.

Antioch giving out school supplies Historic Antioch Baptist Church, 615 Knight Avenue, will distribute free school supplies from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday August 1.

Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis as long as the supplies last. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Abundant Life has women’s forum Abundant Life Christian Center, 905 Main Street, Blackshear holds a women’s conference from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, July 25.

The program, featuring speaker Carolyn Williams, is free and will be held in the social hall adjacent to the center. A light breakfast will be provided.

Williams is the state leader of Georgia Aglow. Topic of her address will be “Love Your Neighbor,” an effort started by her mother, Mary Lance V. Sisk, focusing on transforming communities through love, prayer, and friendship evangelism.

Joseph’s Pantry offers giveaway Joseph’s Pantry, a ministry of The Pentacostals of Waycross, offers staples the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

The next giveaways are from 9:30 to 11 a.m., July 25. Those accepting items must show a valid ID.

First Nazarene has Bible Art VBS The First Church of the Nazarene, 2505 Alice Street holds “Bible Art Camp” as its Vacation Bible School Monday-Wednesday, July 27-29.

The program is directed by Sparrow Ministries will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. each day for ages kindergarten through 12th grade. Adults are urged to participate.

DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
