Library board has Aug. 3 meeting
The Regional Library Board of the Okefenokee Regional Library System will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, August 3 at the Waycross- Ware County Public Library, 401 Lee Avenue.

Dowling family reunion Aug. 8
The John R. and Vandelia Dowling family will hold a reunion at noon, Saturday, August 8 at Hoboken Elementary cafeteria, 224 Church Street.

Signups taken for Stuckie’s Camp Registration is being accepted for Stuckie’s Summer Camp at Southern Forest World, 1440 N Augusta Avenue.
Both half- and full-day programs are available, Monday-Friday, July 2731. Cost per child is $60 for a half day (8 a.m.noon) and $130 for full (8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
A T-shirt is included in the fee. Applications are available to download and bring to SFW with payment or it can be filled out online and submitted with credit card payment ($2 processing fee).

Satilla River has clean-up Aug. 8 The Satilla Riverkeeper will hold a clean-up along the river from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, August 8.

Diabetes group has monthly forum The Talki Foundation’s monthly support group 912 Diabetes Initiative for people with diabetes and their caregivers meets the first Saturday of each month.
