BRUNSWICK — Natalie Jean Davis Burnem, 69 of Brunswick, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 13, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Born in the hills of Smyrna, Tenn., Mrs. Burnem was the daughter of the late Tom and Betty Davis. She graduated from Smyrna High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball.
Following graduation, her family relocated to Georgia. Although her parents later returned to Tennessee, Mrs. Burnem chose to make Georgia her home, where she spent the majority of her life building a life filled with family, friendships, and service to others.
She drove a dump truck for Seaboard Construction before dedicating herself to her home and family as a homemaker. Mrs. Burnem was also an accomplished bowler, earning the distinction of becoming the first woman to bowl a perfect 300 game at Bowlarena.
Above all else, Mrs. Burnem was known for her generous heart. She never hesitated to care for those around her and found joy in making others feel loved.
Mrs. Burnem cherished flowers, adored animals, loved spending time at the beach, and was a devoted Tennessee Volunteers fan.
Her greatest love was her husband, Cisco. Together they shared a life filled with love, laughter,

and devotion.
The Burnems were honored to serve as godparents to his sister Jackie’s children and grandchildren, Ally and Zach Williams. To them, she was affectionately known as “Great Pink Mother,” a title that perfectly reflected the love, warmth and nurturing spirit she shared with each of them.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burnem was preceded in death by her sister, Tessa Davis.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 42 years, Harold “Cisco” Burnem; her siblings, Pam Wilson (Sid) and Meshach Davis, all of Arizona; her brother-in-law, Lynn Burnem (Peggy) of Screven; her sisters-inlaw, Lucy Lee of North Carolina, Kathy Brown of Brunswick and Jackie Jones (Danny) of Baxley; uncle Poncho Huddleston (Cheryl) Waynesville: along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
The family extends their sincere thanks to Dr. Ahmed Elsharkawi for his compassionate care during Mrs. Burnem’s illness.

A service celebrating Mrs. Burnem’s life was held Friday, July 17, 2026 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Pittman, officiating.
