WAYCROSS — Mrs. Christol Buckley, 47, of Waycross, died Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026, at her residence after an extended illness.
Mrs. Buckley was born April 1, 1979 in Alma. She had made Pierce and Ware counties her home for all her life.
Mrs. Buckley worked for Crosby-Pontiac-Cadillac-GMC and Nissan and painted with her husband, Buddy. She was a member of Waycross First Assembly.
Mrs. Buckley was a hard worker and a woman with a generous spirit. She Buckley
brightened the day of anyone she encountered. She enjoyed going camping, but more than anything cherished each moment she was able to spend with her family.
Mrs. Buckley was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Daniels; and one son, Shane Buckley.
She is survived by her husband, Buddy Buckley of Waycross; three children, Sophie Buckley of Waycross, Sierra Buckley (Will) of Blackshear and Amber Buckley of Waycross; her grandchildren, Khloe, Isaiah, Kingston, Mila, Colter, Deshawn, Dalton, Hayden and Breanna; one brother, Waylon Daniels (Sarah) of Offerman; her mother, Barbara Morgan (Timmy) of Offerman; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 16 at Waycross First Assembly. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. at the church.
